Sara grew up in Short Pump, just west of Richmond, VA, where her grandfather instilled a passion for all animals. After living several years in the Southern Outer Banks, NC, she moved to Virginia Beach, VA where her adopted mother had decided to retire too, and soon after started working in the vet field. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, crocheting blankets and hats for NICU and shelters, and relaxing on the couch with her 7 pups and binging Netflix shows.
